David is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in the building & construction, and development industry.

In 2011, David received a Master of Commercial Law from the Melbourne Law School.

‍

During a career spanning 30 David has successfully managed large operational divisions with up to $1billion work in hand and restructured organisations to improve delivery performance, with a strong focus on Time, Cost, Quality, & Safety.

‍

In 2015, David was invited to provide a series of presentations to the Australian Fire Council (AFAC), and various state emergency services, calling for sprinklers to be included in all buildings irrespective of height. Since then, David has been a strong advocate for improving building safety standards. This directly affects occupants, the public, as well as our emergency services and first responders, who risk their lives in an emergency response.

Most recently David has assisted NDIS Special Disability Accomodation (SDA) providers on issues relating to building quality, building compliance, and compliance safety standards for occupants.
